I mean, the real Huey Long was so much more interesting, just like the real Jack Johnson.
The film that we made a few years ago was much more interesting than The Great White Hope.
They had a gentleman's agreement that no black could fight for the heavyweight championship.
And this was a decade in which more African-Americans were lynched than in any other time.
