That's why New York City is safer today than it was just a little over a year ago.

We hope to keep our map as is because this is a grab by the Democrats to try to take the only Republican voice in New York City.

We fought this battle in 2022 and 2024 successfully.

Here we are again.

And this is because the Democrats simply can't beat me on merit, on policy, on debate.

And we're gonna fight it tooth and nail.

And if we have to take it all the way to the US Supreme Court, we will.

Well, I think in general, a lot of Republican members, including myself, have expressed concerns with any type of price controls, right?

That's not something that we generally believe in.

We applaud the president for trying to address this issue of affordability.

And quite frankly, 29% is a little bit ridiculous, right?

I mean, you know, I can go to a loan shark down the block in my district and basically get a better deal.

You don't have loan sharks in your district.

No, no, of course we don't.

I'm just joking.

Defend us, Staten Islanders.

But the reality is that how can we address this?

I actually was speaking to somebody who represents a credit union the other day, and they're capped at 18%.
