I think it's great that you bring that up because shame is so the only, it's just so like, it's like, I almost get like claustrophobic when you think about it, right?
Because nobody can hear, nobody can know.
And when I think about when you come out of shame,
there's a few things that always have to happen.
The first is you have to normalize the feeling.
And I think that's why conversations like this, having really close friends who are honest about their financial situations, that's step number one.
Because what you begin to learn is that, you know, you and I know this because we work with these women all the time, is that many successful women are successful in their careers and successful in their life
and feel behind or stressed about their money.
That is very normal.
And I think that's because you either have a parent who teaches you about money
or you have to learn on your own.
Nobody is just born knowing everything about money.
And so women have to give themselves a little bit of grace.
It's even like when you become a mom for the first time, like you think like, I should just know how to become a mom.
And then you're like going to breastfeeding classes and you're like, why do I have to learn about this?
This is supposed to be the most natural thing in the world.
And it's like,
There are things that we need to be taught, right?
To get better at.
And so it's very normal for successful women to feel not successful with money.
