Well, just that for those tracking our results, fuel continues to be a challenge overnight.
Yeah, I've woken up to a jet fuel price of $160.70 USD per barrel.
That's a 4.1% increase overnight.
Not ideal, to be honest.
It's on the back of further escalations and Iran's Revolutionary Guard Navy claiming the Strait of Hormuz is now under their absolute control.
What isn't helping either is, I'm told, the Russian diesel ban isn't helping because
The jet fuel refineries are now prioritising diesel refining, which is adding further pressure.
So all of this means we will have to keep a close watch.
So far, as we've discussed previously, supply is holding up.
The supply lines are more robust than what most people have given it credit for.
It's going okay.
It is currently a pricing challenge, but we'll see.
We have consolidated flying up to the end of October and the plan is to leave it there because we were working through that when fuel prices was around this level.
So those consolidations remain.
The question is going to be what do we do after from November onwards?
That's something that we're putting our mind to now.
All that said, demand has been pretty strong.
You know, July school holidays has been strong.
Forward bookings are looking pretty positive.
So we'll work through this thoughtfully as we do.
