And I think they've been on stressly for four years.

They just haven't worked.

And I I thought they were gone, but uh many years later I was at that organization again and I overheard one of the executives talking with their directors about payroll and they just made some mention, like, Oh yeah, you know, Jeremy's still doing the thing and we're still paying them some money and I'm just sitting there going, Well, you haven't fired them after four years, which means you must know you're culpable for whatever state of burnout they're in.

So you you just kinda awkwardly sitting there paying them.

It's the kind of thing where you see that and the temptation is just to think they can probably sustain this forever even though it looks horrible.

I think I knew it's three or four people now who were in that category where I was just like, Oh, they're just built for the corporate world.

They're not burning out, they're fine, they can do this forever.

And all four of them burned out.

I think the funniest one was I got an email it was like a year ago.

So I won't name it, but I have to work with this person who seemed just super happy and cheerful at work at a job I hated.

And they were very competent and collegiate and just loved working with them.

And when I left, I was like, Man, that guy just built different, right?

He's not upset at the corporate world.

He can sit there, he can do whatever he wants, and he can be confident and not stressed out.

And one year later, he emails me and he goes, Hey, I've been reading your blog for a year.
