And what's fascinating, when they are told that these other people aren't real people and belittling them and their mother is forcing that belief kind of upon them, it should be no surprise that they get a little incestuous. And this idea to date somebody who didn't go to this university or hire somebody out of this job that didn't go to Harvard or Princeton, like there has built, there's this like incestuous network of these very, wealthy and privileged people.

And I think that that is kind of what the sort of like Saxon Lachlan thing is meant to represent. Victoria's monologue at the end is absolutely flawless because it's so perfectly encapsulates the way wealthy, out of touch, entitled people cope with knowing that they are part of a rigged system that is built like rigged in their favor.
