Like I said, um that was a big adjustment for me in Bakersfield was almost
Um just slowing my game down a half a step and letting it come to me.
And um I think tonight definitely a lot of a lot of motion, a lot of energy.
Um just pretty um eager at the beginning and then I thought I settled a little bit.
So I think for me that's uh that's a big focus.
Amazing.
It's been so much fun playing with these guys and um yeah just getting up to the pace and getting used to it again.
It's been great.
Of
had quite a bit of time.
So I um probably been skating hard for four or five months now and and training.
So um while these guys played all year, um I've kinda had an extended summer.
So that's given me time
I've had a lot of people ask me that question and um
The best that I can answer it is just that I felt I needed to step away and um it was it was a decision just for me and um it was just a gut feeling and I followed that and um
I'm very happy with I am and I wouldn't
for me it's it's it's it's great to be just an all around strong player.
And they haven't necessarily came up to me and told me that, but um you know, I know that's where my strength kinda lies is um being an all around guy I'm not gonna, you know, pop in and score a million goals, but the uh just to be able to contribute and um be solid all over the ice.
