When I played in a team that was dominant in European football, we never, ever got an easy game here.
We didn't come here and play like that and dominate the game like City did today.
You're thinking, what could happen going forward?
Where could they come unstuck?
I think, worst case scenario, the only thing that might stop them winning the league
As I see it, De Bruyne and Silva going out and having months out of the team, because they are so important.
You looked at those stats that came up there, and I think it was 6km City worked, ran more than what United did.
It wasn't just about... When you look at City or you look at Barca at their best, you're looking at all the fantasy football, but it's the hard work they put in.
to stop the opposition.
And they did that.
And I think we'd normally talk about De Bruyne and Silva as the maestros, the ones that create things and generally do all the creative stuff for them.
But they both then put a real shift in today.
It was a very, very impressive performance.
And scary for the rest that hope to catch them.
It was strange to see United concede those two goals from set pieces, Gary.
We were talking before the game about United's strength from set pieces and possibly a fallibility there for City.
But how will United view this, Gary?
I wouldn't be... When you come with a big price, you get enormous pressure attached to that.
But I wouldn't be too critical of him.
I think the team he's playing in, he's not playing with a Silva, a De Bruyne, who are looking one way and slipping the player in another.
