Today is Thursday, August 20th.

Coming up, international students have traditionally been able to stay in the US for as long as they need to finish their academic programs.

Citing rampant visa abuse, the Trump administration is changing that policy.

That has college officials worried about budgets and enrollment, and students worried about their futures.

We'll hear from some international students in the Midwest.

But first, some headlines.

A Missouri judge blocked two measures from the November ballot yesterday.

Cole County Judge Daniel Green ruled that Missourians cannot vote on whether to overturn a congressional map aimed at ousting Democratic Representative Emmanuel Cleaver of Kansas City.

Jason Rosenbaum reports.

Green also agreed with Hoskins' decision to block a second measure from the November ballot.

The Respect Missouri Voters Initiative would require 80% of the legislature to change most voter-approved statutes or constitutional amendments.
