Former Wake Forest basketball star Rodney Rogers has died.

He also played in the NBA for 12 years.

The NBA issued a statement that he died Friday from natural causes tied to his spinal cord injury.

He'd been paralyzed since an accident in 2008.

Rodney Rogers was 54.
