Is there an increased likelihood of experiencing fibromyalgia when you have the HD gene, or if there is any link between fibromyalgia and the expression of the HD gene?

Conditions such as fibromalgia, chronic fatigue type syndromes, headache, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic pelvic pain, irritable bladder have remained hidden illnesses.
As you noted, individuals with these symptoms have been marginalized by the health system, society and employers.
Highlighting these illnesses is a step forward in recognizing these conditions and making individuals aware of the therapeutic options.
I encourage you to do more programs focused on these conditions as it is only through public education that the health system will slowly turn towards adopting a more positive and supportive attitude.
