And then when I think about youthful movement, I was just teaching a bunch of kids.

You know, kids, they're just like impulsive.

They throw their bodies into every direction.

They're, you know, they're in some ways made out of rubber.

They're like fall in crazy ways.

They're sure they just look at themselves, but they're fine.

Right.

There's a kind of wildness or lack of care in some ways and just sort of impulsiveness that is a way of learning.

One thing I love about the exosyllabus is that when I first started to see it, I was studying with a woman named Kira Kirsch.

She lives in Berlin.

Wonderful.

Well, she primarily teaches professional dancers.

She loves to work at a kind of high level of complexity of movement patterning, right?

And there I was.

Right.

So, I mean, and that's a skill in and of itself, right?

That's one kind of whole skill set cultivated over time, you know.

But the practice of the ex, what I saw in her was grace.

And I was like, huh.
