It has been particularly lovely in Ireland.

But obviously, we're at the gentle end of what that heatwave has been like across Europe.

I was checking these numbers and they're at, they are,

they are assessing that somewhere between 17,000 and 25,000 additional deaths happened in Europe over the last two months because of the extreme heat.

And we were talking about road deaths earlier.

That compares to like less than 2,000 road deaths in the same period on an average year.

So we're seeing multiples of people dying on the roads being killed because of accelerating climate breakdown.

So we can't unfortunately avoid that, even if for us here in Ireland at the moment, it's a particularly lovely spell of weather.

Yes, but like we know 76, 83, 95.

So those great summers, and this is the best heatwave for 50 years.

But under climate change, you get this every five years as opposed to every 50 years and you get the impacts of droughts.

And of course, it's not just drought.

We're seeing the wildfires in Canada that were mentioned there that are actually threatening pollution at the World Cup final tonight and having Trump threaten tariffs on Canada for not controlling their wildfires while he denies climate change.

And we're seeing the massive wildfires in Spain this week where 12 people were killed.

We saw one of the kind of Euro camp style places Irish people go in France for...

flattened by fire overnight when they luckily escaped to the beach and got home.

But we are seeing what we thought was something far away and remote in time or in place increasingly closer and closer to our lives in climate breakdown.

Yeah, can I just say that?

I mean, I think banning the disposable barbecues, which most people use in their own homes, would be mad on the government's part when they, for example, are building an LNG import terminal in Clare.

You know, it's sort of putting it back on people.
