And certainly our first half performance wouldn't have inspired them.

But they stuck with us through the game and in the end, you know, they're just that 16th man for you because they really turned out in the numbers as they did last year.

And I know they were disappointed last year, but at least we done the job yesterday and they have another day out to look forward to.

What's going on?

Well, they couldn't get to Killarney because we're all in Dublin.

So look, they've been at most of the games.

It's brilliant because the lads themselves, you know, the players make a big deal of them and they love it and enjoy it.

And they're sort of part of the furniture there.

and that's probably as it should be because like as I say you know you you spend a lot of time on the road or spend a lot of time away from them so it's good to be able to take them and occasions like that will always live with them so it was nice nice good to see nice to get them onto the hollow turf yep

It's lovely to watch it, actually.

Right.

I'm just thinking, you expect Donegal to go back and hit the heights of the National League final or the trip to Killarney.

That really hasn't happened for them.

I still go back to the down game and think that that was a massive blow.

And I don't know if they've fully recovered from that, to be honest.

Obviously, you know, Cork last week is another body blow.

It means you're out.

You know, I've seen Jim McGinnis talking about being out week on week and that is not simple and it's not easy and the travel and everything that's involved in the preparation and all that.
