And this is the time where we need to
Double down on climate action and double down on adapting to the change we can't avoid now.
Uh so like climate change is not a hoax.
Ca the carbon tax is not a scam, and carbon tax amounts to one billion out of a hundred billion tack of tax the gut the the government raises.
So if you think we're over taxed, which we're not particularly by European standards, like why are you focusing on the one percent of the tax revenue that's called carbon tax, which is funding your retrofitting and your EV grants?
And I agree EVs are
have been expensive.
They're getting cheaper.
Uh like you can now get uh uh newer cars, EV cars that that are competitive uh uh with the with with the price range of fossil fuel cars and of course they will be much cheaper to run.
And that great scheme that the government piloted but didn't it needs they need to br roll it out for uh for um

scheme.
For the scrappage scheme, yes, because gives people who can't afford a new car uh uh so easily more of a chance.
And we are beginning to see the second hand market in EVs growing.
It will grow the more there the more the the more EVs have been on the road.
So I think EVs are becoming are becoming more of an option for more people, but obviously we need public transport and safe routes to school for cycling and walking, not just cars.
Yes, we're not dreaming.
Uh there is there's a there's a great new report out from a uh think tank in Brussels called Transport and Energy.
