Probably, you know, probably Frank O'Reilly for...
for New York, deserves a mention as well, I mean, he got seven points, he got, um, three two-pointers, like, on one point, so, you know, of all the, he's probably the front-runner as far as all of those, um, New York lads were concerned, Killian Butler, obviously got one-one as well, but, um, the big,
big ask for new york just to come in at this stage of competition and be competitive and unfortunately you know their lack of of game time at this level just keeps coming back to bite them and i don't know if there's a better solution uh than what is happening at the minute but then coming in get one game and off you pop again is at their level um it's probably not the answer i don't know what the answer is though don't don't ask me that but what's the answer okay
well they're going to have to you know we're going to have to find some way that other than them getting one game
And, you know, one game in the Connacht Championship and one game in the Taliesin Cup is not going to be enough to improve them.
And I understand there's logistics and there's travel and all that, but it's almost getting to the point where it's pointless unless we try and address that situation properly and try and get them more games.
plopped into the semi-final stage of the lower tier competitions and that's not fair on them so it's a difficult one to manage but i mean we obviously have been out there but like they're obviously good enough to play at the level they're playing at because they're coming over and they're winning those competitions you know yeah this that's not the case in football and so in order to change that something will have to we can't keep going and they can't keep going and doing what they're doing at the moment because
um as i say there's just no improvement and and those lads and the people who are running that you know new york ga don't want that either so there has to be some sort of compromise whether that be you know one team over here traveling for a talent cup game and then maybe them coming over two weeks in a row for but we need to get them involved earlier
I do feel because it's just unfair coming in at that level, playing against probably one of the favourites for the competition and, you know, away from home.
It's just, yeah, it's just not really working.
So probably has to be looked at again, to be honest.
Happy, yeah, it was a pretty controlled performance.
We never really looked in any major ball or so.
Tipperary are big, physical, good side.
They have some serious forwards, obviously Stephen O'Brien and Sean O'Connor and these boys up front.
So just had to be wary of that, but it was a really good performance from our boys in fairness.
Yeah, well, he's a wee bit older than that, I think.
But he, I think you're getting that off Scorpio, are you?
That's being very kind to Kevin.
I think he's actually 22.
