Well, that's the funny thing or the ironic thing here is it's already happened to CNN under David Zaslav.
So CNN softened its position against Donald Trump considerably.
Like the coverage of CNN today is much, much softer, no matter which way you cut it, than it was five or six years ago under AT&T and Jeff Zucker.
And so you think if that's not enough yet and they wanted to soften even more, I think that's really a cause for concern and certainly would change the network's DNA.
Yeah, I mean, I think that shows the decline of the business.
It's not entirely CNN's fault here, although you could say some of it probably is because they've alienated viewers.
But the larger thing here is that people are not turning on cable anymore.
They are cutting the cord.
They are saying, we don't need cable anymore.
We'll just watch Netflix.
We'll just pay for HBO Max.
