And so this is going to be very messy and it's probably going to not be wrapped up by 2026 or at least through the new year.
I've asked the smartest people on this old day what's likely to happen, and no one really knows what will happen.

It's possible that Netflix could bid more.
It's possible that Warner shareholders could reject Paramount, and Paramount can come back with another even larger offer.
We really don't know what's going to happen.

At the end of the day, and will they take the big cash offer from Paramount or will they want to sell to Netflix, assuming they can unlock more value if they spin off the cable networks?
It gets very, you know, confusing, but it will be important for how our culture is shaped via Hollywood and how our information flows via news outlets like CNN.
The question though, if you're a Warner shareholder, you're voting on this, is do you think Netflix can actually clear the regulatory hurdles given that it's the dominant streamer buying the number three streamer, right?
Or do you think, and if they can't, they owe like a five plus billion dollar breakup fee, but you don't get your money.
Or do you think that David Ellison and Paramount can have the best chance, maybe because they have Donald Trump's support, of clearing these regulatory hurdles?
And if so, then you actually get paid.
And so I think that's also what it comes down to.
