And we should not use the Epstein files as a distraction.

They want us to be distracted, right?

It goes from one thing to the other to the next thing to the other.

And when we are making the links, I will often say the imperial boomerang, what we do abroad, comes here at home, not to detract on one specific thing that's going on in Venezuela when the boat was just bombed a couple of days ago or the ongoing genocide of Palestine.

and then what's going on in Washington, D.C.

That's not to make people, like, so confused.

And then on top of this, like, the climate crisis, because all of these things are connected.

That's not to confuse people or further distract.

It's to show the linkages and to show that, like, when we... When the mainstream media focuses on one thing so hard and they're not reading the broader picture, that I actually, as much as I want...

everyday people to be standing up in these moments.

Anyone with a platform, anyone who is tied to like, whether it's like a large social media following, but more so these larger liberal media outlets,

we have lost trust that they are going to cover issues with truth in proper journalism because the way in which they have manufactured consent of so many of these systemic injustices, including this genocide.

So I actually haven't been focusing on the Epstein files because so many people are, and I do see it as, it's not surprising that there is so much

so many lies and so many people connected to it.

Um, but I, I just think that Trump, his entire regime, um, they are, they want to make profit.

They want to make themselves out like they want to, they have, they have egos, they have all of these things.

Um, but I do think this bipartisan effort around releasing the Epstein files, I wish there was a bipartisan, uh, effort for some of these things that are actively really, really disrupting so many communities right now.

Totally.

And that's another thing that I want to say is like the press is so important in this.

And I think what we learned from what was going on in Gaza where everyone became a journalist, right?
