And unfortunately for the situation that we are in for our democracy here in the United States, his allies seem to be
people that behave like autocrats, people that want to behave like dictators.
And so now the reality is we just had a wannabe dictator of the United States go after a regime.
And again, who is going to pay in the aftermath?
Because we do not do the follow through well.
And I don't think there's any intent for Donald Trump to do the aftermath other than I think there are going to be serious questions by the American people who don't want war.
And now here we are.
I was just curious from your perspective on the ground, does the mood, from your vantage point, does it feel like this is going to be contained or does it feel like an opening chapter to something so much bigger?

Just to clarify your remarks on the Alex Preddy killing, are you saying that the Justice Department has opened a civil rights investigation into his death?
Yeah, this is definitely one of those red lines.
And I think this is the stuff that we see in Banana Republics.
And so you are correct to say this is what we see in failing democracies, where the freedom of the press is under attack.
And it is under attack because, let's be clear, they want to control the messaging.
And so this behavior, this is Putin-like behavior, just to be clear.
And that's the one thing that Americans should really understand.
This is how Russia behaves.
This is not how the United States of America should be behaving.
But yet here we are.
