Podcast Appearances
Well, anybody who thinks that education is not a performance, then they're in the wrong business.
So yeah, I mean, you have to keep it entertaining.
You got to keep it lively.
You also got to keep the energy up.
No one wants to come to learn in a boring environment.
Um, I don't know everybody else's numbers, but I just, uh, yeah, I mean, I, I know that, um, I did a little research myself cause I wrote an article about, um, the truth about getting sponsorships for podcasts and, uh, and you know, you're, you're about right.
About 1%, maybe around 1.5% of podcasts out there are able to take on sponsors because.
because of our numbers.
You have to have a certain number of downloads and obviously an audience to listen to.
Not to say that if you have a small audience, you can't get sponsorship, but in terms of making it an actual revenue stream.
Yeah.
Sure.
So we get sponsorship from two different ways.
One is I have an agent, which is mid-roll.
We work with mid-roll who negotiates sponsorships with us.
So we'll get a variety of sponsors from hairy razors to Squarespace to, um, Google AdWords, things like that.
So they, they provide us the sponsorships, they negotiate the rate for us and all that stuff.
And they obviously get a cut.
So I would say about 75% of our sponsorship spots come from mid-roll.
And is that their model is 20%, right?
