But this is what I think.
This is my angle then of what I think happened.
Hashtag said, regardless of what we sell until we hit a threshold, we get a flat fee from Elite Sports Group.
So if you're Millwall and you say, like Ben says there, being a cynic, we don't sell a lot of shirts.
So maybe if they fabricated it or helped try to do a deal, I'd be like, look...
an esports group give you half a million pounds for three years or I don't know whatever how much to quantify the money is and if we hit certain thresholds afterwards but if you're Mill you might be thinking we're never going to hit the numbers anyway we'll just take the cash it might be worth more to us doing that than actually paying to do the distribution ourselves and selling the merchandise ourselves so I reckon Mill must have been like well quid's in here let's just do it this way and it backfired on us maybe maybe that's something to say because it is crazy why do you why do you off ship that to someone else when like you can probably do it yourself but I
I don't, but I think what you can't get away from is commercially in the last year, whoever's been leading the commercial charge with this, have an absolute clangor, if not for their own as well.
But let's be frank, if the shirt manufacturer you go to with a club record-breaking deal has gone bust, and Husky are trying to get out with the club record-breaking partner deal we done three years ago, four years ago,
I know we're trying to scrape the barrel and try to reach as far as we can and try and get as much money in commercially as a club.
And I do get the angle because I imagine they're under pressure, these people in the commercial department, to make it happen.
But it's not a good look.
But at the same time, I guess we're a victim of trying to claw as much money as possible because we need to compensate for the fact that we only have 14,000 people turn up every week.
We only have X amount of shirt sales.
We only turn over X amount.
I totally get it.
But you've got to look at yourself sometimes and go, the shirt manufacturer is on bus.
The kit of sponsor is, you know, allegedly, no one knows, is trying to get out of the sponsor training kit.
So there's no sponsor training kit now.
And it's a mess.
I think haven't, but I think there's a... It was a partner-breaker partnership, though, which we've been agreeing for four or five years.
