Because I think the first step to being addiction is recognizing that you have one.
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
And realizing that you have reached a point in your life...
And it's not what you want it to be.
The life that you've chosen has got so distant away and this has kind of filled it.
And it's so, there's a real turmoil in your life.
And I think recognizing it is totally the first step.
I mean, what helped me was the one conversation.
I went to my therapist thinking that this was something blasΓ©.
I'm kind of beyond saving, but I'll mention it in case she's got something to add.
And her reception, her lack of judgment, her understanding, and actually her lack of wanting to fix me.
was the first thing where I went, oh, maybe I'm not as broken and as ruined and as awful as I thought I was.
And that's going to create the beginning of the pathway to wanting to change.
Because nobody's going to change until they come to a point at which they realize that they can and they want to.
not anybody else yeah and uh and that's i guess is a rock bottom um and so that's the start can you find the person or the people or the organization and things like naked truth project who i'm a patron of our incredible body that do work for people with sex addiction and porn addiction
I mean, even the fact it's called cognitive sexual behavioral disorder is ridiculous.
It's recognized globally by the World Health Organization that 5% of the world are in this.
And when it's, like I said, the sheer volume, we can't imagine that there isn't a serious problem.
