That's the high wire act, I think, is watching somebody battle their own ego and embarrassment and

And to do that with a character, with incredible writing, all of that adds to this kind of astounding feat, at least for me when I watch it, thinking about it, of like those great performances, you know, like how is that happening?
And knowing how hard it can be to allow oneself to kind of get out of the way to let something happen, you know.
Well, when you put it that way...
Horrible.
