No, I mean I I mean I could debate some of these things, but I think the overall point I agree with you on, which is that people were sold a lie, people were told a story that isn't true, people were told to do things that were stupid things to do. voice-verified

What I would say is the important thing is to own some kind of appreciating asset. voice-verified

So like Rabbit Sethi, for example, would say at least in certain markets, you'd make a lot more money by renting and taking the difference of what you would have paid being a homeowner. voice-verified

Because there are a lot of uh extra expenses, right? voice-verified

You're maintaining, you're replacing equipment, you're dealing with maintenance or you know, landscaping, all the other things that are that a landlord takes care of for you. voice-verified

And so if you rent for less overall cost than what it would cost to own, and you invest that in stocks, for example. voice-verified

You can often do much better financially over time than if you just bought that home. voice-verified

And I I'm not saying that's, you know, one answer is right or wrong. voice-verified

It probably is very situational based on the real estate market and the person and and all the rest. voice-verified

But I think if you own a business or if you own a a a stock portfolio, or if you you know, there's lots of ways to become wealthy. voice-verified

And I think the important thing to me is that you're not spending every dollar that comes in and you are saving and investing that in something. voice-verified

And and I I would see real estate as a form of forced savings. voice-verified

There that having a kid makes you care a lot more about the future and wanting to leave a good future for your kids and your grandkids. voice-verified
