So I know Trump was applauding Johnson for kind of including it in the bills that they're sending through to the Senate. matched

And so there you know, you could interpret that a couple of ways. matched

One is it's a way you can do it without 60 votes. matched

So that is a legitimate thing that in theory matched

The Republicans should be able to pass this if they were all on board with it. matched

But and then at the same time, he's beating up Thune for not doing it. matched

Like, I think Johnson is putting Thune in a position where he can't use the excuse of saying, well, we don't have 60 votes and we don't want to get rid of the filibuster and all these other things that he's been hiding behind. matched

Now you have now he has to say, well, actually, we don't even have people on our side that are willing to vote for it, which I think is the reality is that there are some Republican holdouts that don't want to matched

don't want to vote for it. matched

And so in theory, we will at least be able to get a vote to know who's for it and who's against it. matched

And then maybe try and single out those people and embarrass them to the point where they flip. matched

But that's kind of where we are right now is that I think the plan in the House is they're going to attach the SAVE Act to pretty much every other big bill that they sent across. matched

And then the Senate has to decide, are we going to strip it out or are we going to vote for it with it in? matched
