Do your best.
Actually, and you're not allowed to put twists on them.
You have to ask the questions as they come in.
As they come in.
Not to come back to a financial hangover.
I think there's a couple of things that holidays bring us.
One, there's three elements to it for me.
There's the anticipation, there's the experience and there's the memories.
So there's three elements of the enjoyment.
And if you can get the anticipation era or section or stage right, you'll actually come back with better memories.
And it comes up from time to time when I'm talking to people back and forth online and in person or whatever, where they say, that was the first holiday I ever went on that I didn't borrow money for it.
and I enjoyed it much more.
I saved for it in advance.
I put the money aside.
Now, let's imagine you are going on holidays this week, and let's imagine you don't have the money for it, and you are going to borrow the money.
First of all, borrow sensibly.
Try and get it from the cheapest rate you possibly can.
But one of the things you should try and do, whether it's back to school or it's holidays, right, or some other annual event that tends to come around every year, if you are forced into a position to borrow first, let's imagine the holiday is going to cost you €1,200 in total, totally making up that number.
Well, on the basis of the last conversation, yes, you have, and you're wildly off target.
So in six months time, you can save 200 euros a month and you're not going to have to borrow this time next year.
