I I I think that you're right about context being important.

I think goaltending context, like environmental context for goaltenders, might be the most underrated factor.

in goaltending analysis uh that that's out there.

To me, it's vital and understanding what your goaltender strengths are versus what your team defensive strengths are and matching those two things up can be very, very beneficial.

And for a long time, Winnipeg did a very good job of that with Halibuck.

So uh there'll be two points addressed here.

One one will be this about his numbers the last year, and the second will be his age.

First of all, the the way that Winnipeg played historically when they they had their best years, they were very good at allowing him to be set on shots and letting him track the puck.

And not let not forcing him into being too acrobatic.

And that plays in his strength because he plays very deep, very conservative, and very read focused.

He likes to understand what's about to happen and be there ahead of it.

That's his game.

That's what he likes.

And Winnipeg played a style that allowed him to do that.

And because of that style, I have less fear about him deteriorating with age because it requires less explosive movement and more brain understanding and more reps, which should, in theory, and and I'll tell you in practice, you improve at that as you age.

No matter how long you play, the goaltending position is one that you see guys peak later because they have a better understanding of the game.
