In fact, in most states, I think all states, it's a legal requirement to have the basic level of insurance cover on a car.
That's because if you just smash into a pole or heaven forbid you hit a pedestrian, you've got to have some sort of cover.
You've got to pay your share for that.
So there are a few different types of CTP, third party, full comp, full comprehensive.
