agreed I got a really and speaking of the manager advocating on your behalf one piece of advice I got ages ago when I was younger was try and make friends with your boss's boss yeah because then your boss is in a position where they're kind of like I know you know this is yeah not a friend but it you know I know you guys are close like can I get this pay rise over the line and probably it's like it takes that friction away so it's a lot of like as much as it's supposed to be a very clean process it's a lot of

One of the things is, you know, just be, even if you hate your job, it would probably be an important thing in the months leading up to this just to be happy at work.
Just to be a person that goes the extra mile, that tries to have a smile on their face, is kind of chirpy.
