You don't need to rebuild it every second week.
You don't need to fill up again on steel the next week, right?
So the oil markets are slightly different.
And the way that they work...
is that there are certain groups around the world that control the supply of oil.
So they deliberately want to keep prices high.
And if you've done Economics 101, if there is lots of oil and lots of petrol at the bowser, the fuel service station will drop the price on the fuel to
entice you to buy more because, hey, they need to get rid of it.
There's so much supply, but there's only limited demand from us consumers.
So we have to get in.
They want us to buy more and more and more, even though, I mean, what are we going to do with extra fuel?
But you get the idea.
And what's happened is overseas in countries where they are dependent on the production of oil, where their employees are employed by these big refineries or big, just different types of organizations where they pump the oil out of the ground.
What they're
What they're dependent upon is keeping those people in a job so that then they can contribute to the economy and keep the economy going through this tough time.
But then what we've seen from other countries in the world who are supposed to be in agreement with these other parties, they're trying to say...
Well, hey, if you're going to keep producing oil, but we've agreed that we won't produce more oil, so we keep prices high, we're going to keep producing oil and we're going to drop prices.
And so we've had one of the most powerful oil company producing nations in the world, which is Saudi Arabia, come out and say, we're going to drop the price of oil.
so that anyone else that tries to compete with us on oil production and tries to flood the market will be, you know, they'll be booted out.
We've got the lowest prices, so we will just flood the market until everyone else realizes that, hey, they shouldn't do that and they should just tow the party line, right?
