So if you can work from home, why not?
Ask your boss, can I just work from home?
I'm going to do the same amount of work.
I'm going to get my job done.
Why don't I work from home?
And you can save money on things like travel and fuel costs and all those types of things, but make yourself valuable.
Tell your boss why you're such an outstanding employee.
Make sure you keep that job because that is arguably the most important factor to consider at any time in your professional life is just keeping yourself employed.
The next one is avoid, avoid, avoid extra debt.
So no second or third investment properties, no matter what the tub of rock hair gel 25-year-old with tight pants is telling you on Instagram.
Second or third properties are great when things are going well, but they're not great when things aren't going well.
So again, I'm not saying predicting doom and gloom for the property market, but avoid debt because debt sucks the life out of you.
It's what keeps people's slaves to the man, quote unquote.
Avoid it.
Avoid credit cards.
Avoid afterpaying.
Cut your expenses.
Cut into your expenses and don't force yourself to use debt or short-term credit.
