same the conceit is if you watch the US office, I mean, based on the the the Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant British Office, it's a much more family friendly one.
I don't mean that in a bad way, it's it's more of a group effort.
There were hundreds of episodes that ran for nine seasons, but it did follow the same premise whereby um the crew are sorry, the staff of the office of this paper company, which is important actually when you think about it, or Dunder Mifflin in Scranton, Pennsylvania, which of course is Joe Biden.
Hometown, but we didn't know that then.
Um the the they were following just in their work day and it kind of the documentary never really aired except it did at the end.
So now twenty years later, they're following the staff of a Midwestern failing newspaper, again Paper, which is owned by a parent company that makes far more money selling toilet paper than it does selling news.

His his will they won't they in the office and kind of the chief reporter.
But basically he in enlists all the other staff members to kind of strive for journalistic ethics and journalism and Esmeralda there is kind of loud.
She's Italian, she's she's really cacciatore.
She's kind of his nemesis.
Uh Tim Key provides great um comedic kind of asides, the pieces to camera that we loved in the American version of the office.
But what I will say, and this is I haven't seen series two, and it does start next week on Thursday on Skywalk.
All episodes will be on now TV, I think, concurrently, uh at nine o'clock on Thursday.
Is that the first series of the US Office was very much based on the British one, it was like a bad cover version.
Mm.
Um you don't need to watch it ever again.
Even halfway through series two, jump in there and then enjoy it.
They enjoy it.
It finds its feet.
