I don't know, I haven't seen it, there are no screeners available.
Um it's on Netflix, as I say.
But um it does focus, I believe, on his upbringing and Chicago and a violent story.
which he can't be drawn on and how the story uh ends.
His mother is robbed at uh or he's violently robbed uh of her money.
She was on can she she cleaned houses, people and and they were living on welfare, as I said, twelve kids.
So he came from nothing.
Um but he has a success story.
His brother was a cop and another brother was a fireman and all this sort of good stuff.
So yeah, uh as I say, they succeeded 'cause they loved their mama and they did the right thing.
And that is chill.

It is resolutely in the 1970s.
We've had, in terms of Gamara, we had the novel came first, Roberto Saviano's novel, upon which the film of 2008 was based, and then there was a series of, I think, five, I think it was five series, sorry, yeah, five series of the actual kind of expanded Gamara-Napoli organised crime universe that wrapped up in 2021, and I suppose...
If you were a fan of something like The Sopranos and you went to the prequel movie and were slightly chastened by the experience, don't be worried about this.
This is kind of, this is, you know, it's everything.
It can't be fun.
It's also kind of, you know, violent, murky underworld.
