I had to do that for four months, and it was the worst four months of my life.
Having to talk with my clients remotely was just very frustrating.
And while working from home is nice occasionally, I much prefer in-office work.

Whereas you can be, once your living room becomes your office, any hour of the day can be your work day.
There was a very similar study about a different company that found the exact opposite, that remote work actually improved productivity amongst people in the company.
There's a whole school of thought that when people are remote, especially if they're senior employees and they know what they're doing, there's just less in their way.
They know what they're doing.
They know how to do their job.
And if you just let them do it without the distractions of an office, they'll be more productive.
There's also a school of thought that when employees are at home, if that's what they prefer, then they're more satisfied.
And having happy, satisfied employees is better for your business.
