Turkey is facilitating the flow of Azerbaijani gas and oil to Israel.
And there are many other allegations going about this stay behind, behind the curtain relations between Tel Aviv and Ankara.
I'm not going into them now, but we should know that we should face the fact that there is this two-dimension relationship going on in the region.
One, we are witnessing a nation, a people, Turkish people, protesting for the rights of people in Gaza, in Palestine and other countries that Israel is attacking.
And on the other hand, we have a government that is anti-Western, anti-Israeli on rhetoric, but still doing business with the Israelis.
And we should not forget that the rise of Erdogan and his party
coincided with the emergence of a new generation in Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East, in other countries such as Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Tunisia, and so on.
What made Erdoğan and his party different in early 2000s was its so-called modest language.
It's an idea that Erdoğan and his Islamist policies could well behave and could well cooperate, cohabit together with the secular life that was going on in Turkey.
that was also celebrated by then President Obama, and Turkey was presented as a model for the whole Islamic world.
And in those days, it was okay for Turkey and Erdogan to have and develop relations with Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and other Islamic factions and political parties in the region.
Of course, this is history and we know what happened in the last 15 to 20 years in the region.
Now, we are facing another reality where Muslim Brotherhood was persecuted and defeated in many countries.
But in Syria, we have another Islamic regime that is supported by Erdogan, Ankara.
And in the meantime, you have Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Republic of Iran that is waging war or resisting against Israeli intervention in the region.
So, Israeli allegations have some kind of factual base, of course, about the Turkish and
Hamas relations or Turkish and Muslim Brotherhood or Erdogan's relationship with Muslim Brotherhood.
But still, this does not make Erdogan's government or Turkey itself as a supporter of terrorism or whatever those people want to call it.
Turkey is a unique member of NATO and unique ally of the Western world, thanks to its geopolitical and geographical situation, how it is placed on Earth.
It is bordering Asia and Europe,
