And the question was, do we just defend the player or we do the thing that we should do as a union, which is hold the rule of law sacrosanct and in the process also hold an owner who you are in constant, perpetual, forever tension with in the push-pull of negotiations, right? matched

And what the MBPA is doing so far is signaling they're only going to do the first thing. matched

And that they support the investigation, finding nothing, and that this feels like a precedent in terms of punishment for Kawhi, that they just want to preempt and fight. matched

And I will simply say that there is an argument for why a collective bargaining agreement should be matched

defended as a matter of what the rule of law is in sports. matched
