We're really creating more harm by enabling these addicts.

And the gender and harm reduction or the substance abuse with that mentality is very similar in that way.

We're affirming their addiction.

We're affirming their negative behavior patterns.

We're affirming lies.

It's all very overlapping.

Yeah, I mean, we were all trained to keep our what we call transference and countertransference in check.

We're supposed to.

We all have that rescue fantasy.

We all feel like, oh, my God, if only I could just take this person home, I could save them.

We have these impulses.

We're human, but we know that's not healthy and it's not actually going to help.

So we have to check ourselves.

I don't know why I'm losing my voice right now.

I don't support social justice, but I think we're calling it different things.

I think there's a few other differences, actually.

The biggest one is we believe, or I think I agree with you, even though I'm actually not Christian, that we should be helping the downtrodden.

However, we don't believe it is the government's job to do it.
