Uh was named El Niña.
So we have El Nino in and El Niña in Altiroa and what it means for us when there's an El Niño um weather pattern is that we get those westerly winds and you kind of have two summers or two different types of summers in the one country.
If you're on the west, you're gonna get uh because it's picking up that warm water, uh you're gonna get a lot of rainfall on the west coast of of the country.
But
But if you're on the east and the and the and the upper north, it's gonna be dry.
Um and but the trouble is it's gonna be really dry.
And so we've had the the biggest uh El Nino weather patterns we've had in the last 20 or 30 years, uh 82, 83 was severe drought, uh I think 2006, 2007, and 2014 and 2015.
all all drought um s drought stricken summits.
So that's not good, I guess, for food production and things like that.
Irrigation.
It means the the hydro dams, because they're on the west are getting a lot of water in them.
But um just something to to to keep a note of, you know, it you might have water restrictions coming up.
Um if you're up in the north, you know, you can look forward to maybe that um outdoor wedding.
But don't book 'cause she me.
So it's actually I
that back.
But don't blame me if it all goes wrong because it is the weather, right?
It is the weather.
And um and I remember once uh at T V three when we're uh the management decided they're gonna try and speed up the weather section of the news, right?
And they said, um what what we'll do is we'll take out today's temperatures and that that'll just speed things up a bit.
