You know, there's been, you know, dozens, if not hundreds of people at Google and OpenAI who have sort of signed this petition saying, you know, we are concerned about some of these extreme use cases.
But, you know, worker organizing just does not have the same effect and not, you know, when we're talking about hundreds versus thousands, it just hasn't reached the same level of concern inside these companies.

It's getting access to real-time information that can be fed into, you know, the Meta AI chatbot or whatever other AI products that Meta ends up building.
So there's always, you know, people are asking about what's going on with this anthropic Department of War situation.
And there's a need for access to sort of, you know, legit fact-based real-time information.
And they're also getting access to story archives, which ultimately helps people
train these models.
What I think is kind of interesting is we're not hearing as much about whether there'll be access to video or audio like podcasts like this one.
It just hasn't come up as much in some of these licensing deals between media companies and the AI companies.
The choices that media companies really have are twofold.
They can sue and say, all these AI companies have been taking their data for quite some time, or they can just sign this licensing deal and get paid for it.
We've seen other deals.
Meta was sort of the laggard in signing some of these deals so that they're getting involved and they're spending sort of a sizable chunk, suggests maybe that'll lift all boats across the media industry.
