Every big AI company needs them, but NVIDIA doesn't want to put all of its chips on one number, so to speak.
And on the OpenAI side, OpenAI is exploring other options too.
It has an internal team that's been looking at developing chips.
It has had an off and on relationship with Google Cloud and Google Cloud TPU chips over the years.
You know, NVIDIA also doesn't want, you know, OpenAI to get too cozy with other options.
And this keeps sort of the both sides wanting each other just a little bit more.
You know, when you're separated a little bit, you kind of feel like you want to get back together.
A ton.
I mean, OpenAI is embarking on this crazy plan to potentially a trillion dollars worth of data centers in the coming years or decades.
If they continue to have the success that they have had been having with ChatGPT,
That is a lot of money that they're going to be spending on data centers, on servers, and on chips.
And NVIDIA needs to cash in on that to deliver on the valuation that investors have been giving it in recent years.
It's perhaps a sign, this may be a little bit too harsh, but it's perhaps a sign that you kind of get what you pay for.
TikTok has hitched its cloud infrastructure to Oracle.
Yes, every cloud provider has these outages and has these issues, but
Oracle is the number four cloud player for a reason, perhaps.
And it may come with these outages that take longer to get back online.
And so users came away frustrated that they weren't getting the views.
I spoke to one user who used to thousands of views on their videos.
They had a couple days with zero because of these errors and issues that TikTok was having.
