I agree with all that.
What does it mean, learn to do good?
And here it is.
This is the core, central message of Jesus.
This is why Jesus, in the first moment that he had a chance to stand up in the synagogue, in his own hometown, he quoted Isaiah.
And he gave his own life's mission.
This is why I am here.
And Isaiah says it.
Learn to do good.
Seek justice.
Rescue the oppressed.
Defend the orphan.
Plead for the widow.
That's what it means to be a Christian.
if being a christian means anything that is it and so for me and our little collective we're going to give our energies and our efforts and our voice for speaking up for and alongside with and elevating the voices
