Why do they feel like they can be racist but justified with their Bible verses?
I mean, that's, you know, that's history.
History is filled with movements that use Christ's name but ignore Christ's teachings in his way.
Crusaders, slaveholders, segregationists, KKK, today Christian nationalism.
That's just a part of it.
But also, it's very telling.
It's very telling when you have people like Megyn Kelly or this other gentleman that spoke
that are far more concerned about being perceived as a racist or being called racist than actual racism that's happening in our world right now and i'm just saying man a different approach i mean could you imagine could you imagine a news anchor like megan kelly instead of spouting off doing her thing to get reviews can you imagine if if she just paused and
She's like, yeah, this is actually a deeply complex problem.
But my heart goes out to these Haitians and immigrants that are here, many seeking asylum.
My heart goes out to them, and they deserve it.

And could you imagine taking a completely different approach than get out of here, this isn't your home?
And imagine placing your shoes, placing your feet in the shoes of the person that's actually on the underside of power.
And the reason I invite you to do that is because I think that's what Jesus did over and over again.
He knew something about that because God done like, like we've lost all sense of tenderness in our country.
I'm not even sure this administration would understand when Jesus said, blessed are the, one of the Beatitudes, blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
I'm not even sure this administration knows what that word meek means.
I'm not even sure if they know what having a tender, compassionate heart actually looks like.
