I mean, I think a part of that is this insistence on the fact that we have moved on as a country when we have not.

And

I think we will never heal.

I mean, think about how deep and far and long white supremacy has run.

I mean, here we are, Don, what, celebrating 250 years as a country?

and 250 years you know it'd be great like this sunday they're doing a big 250th thing at uh the monument i think in dc and you know what would be great here's what would be great it would be great if the leaders that are participating in that 250th anniversary of america stood up and instead of pontificating about how great america is right now what would be great is if they stood up and acknowledged this one simple truth

racism and white supremacy is still very much alive in the heart of this country, in the heart of this nation and in the heart of this administration and leadership.

And it would be great if they started right there, just simply acknowledging that truth, because we will never heal.

This racism that's embedded deep.

I mean, it's deep.

I know this because I am a white male who was raised in the South in America.

It is embedded so deep with inside the collective conscious of white America.

And until we stand up in the 250th celebration, it would be a great moment to do that.

Just acknowledge that reality.

Stop playing games, Don.

Stop all of this reverse racism conversation as if we've ever been, you know, in any sense of the way, experienced something in power from that particular level.

Let's stop.

playing all of that and actually get honest about where America is and about what is happening right now.

And at least acknowledge that because that is the first step.

You cannot heal what you do not acknowledge.
