But when I go into therapy, and that's a part of like, even this book, we talked about this book last time, but Discovering Your Internal Universe, this is a part of what this is, is I am encouraging people to go inward because when I go into therapy, I go in, right?
Like I put on my little sleeping mask and I use my imagination.
I go inward and I say, what's surfacing in the unconscious?
This is what is surfacing in the unconscious of America right now.
And it must be made visible.
Like it must come up outside of the basement doors of our own souls.
And it must be verbally said and pushed outward to the external so we can see it for exactly what it is.
And that's not easy.
That's hard to see.
But there are lots of things that I'm seeing and learning even about myself.
That is hard to see, but it's necessary because you can't heal it.
You cannot heal it if you don't see it, if you don't feel it, if you don't even acknowledge it.
And so that's the starting point.
Let all this stuff surface.
Let's get it all out done.
And let's do it now.
You know what I mean?
Let's clean it all up.
250th celebration would be a perfect time to get it all out.
All, as Carl Jung said, all the shadows that are sitting in the depths of this nation.
