And it was interesting, although, you know, Ellen didn't like it.

That's fine.

Coaches don't get to do everything or like everything.

But the reality is it worked.

And the reality is that many NHL teams do it now.

A lot of the things that we did, the back-to-back games and this staying over, the real issue is the Canucks, quite frankly, got screwed when we did that.

And the reason is that the NHL adopted the day-off system so the players get a day off or a couple days off a month now.

And so that didn't exist when we were with the Canucks.

So we essentially gave them a day off by staying over and their day off was flying back.

But now they can't, it's really hard to do that because they have to give them a day off where they don't travel.

So we invented a monster that the Canucks can't.

Yeah, we do.

And I think the NHL has kind of figured that out.

But they're kind of slow moving back into some time changes.

I think they're jumping some time zones.

And it has a lot to do, obviously, with the availability of arenas and television.

So it's difficult.

So one of the things that Canucks did...

when Gellis was there was they opened up the entire Rogers Arena to the NHL.
