I'm going to go Limerick for a historic win.
Like we just said, Dermot Burns would just be free for one second while the Cork team try and overload.
In fairness, Cork are missing two huge players we didn't even mention in terms of Joyce and Dara Fitzgibbon.
And that takes an awful lot of trust because you're allowing three Corkmen on two versus Kyle and William at the other side.
You look back at the last two championship meetings between these two teams in the last 12 months, Dara Fitzgibbon got men of the match in both of them.
Barry Walsh is over there with the other two half-ords.
in the first round and in the Munster final last year so he's a huge loss I'll go with Limerick by two pints and Geroad Hegarty man of the match okay Moll
So you have to have fierce trust in your teammates to say, you come out on top in a 3v2.
Because teams are always trying to do that.
They're always trying to overload numbers.
Whether it's club or county, you're always trying to say, I think we'd have a fierce advantage here if we could have an extra man to the break.
So that's why you'll very rarely see nowadays, like maybe Hurling was 30, 40 years ago, you will very rarely ever see if the puck goes down on top of 10,
you'll very rarely ever see number 12 just at the other side of the field he's usually been told to come over you know and I hope sometimes that he won't be followed so Cork don't want to give away that number's advantage clearly John they want to just follow everywhere and in fairness to them they're the current Munster champions they're in the last two All-Ireland finals they're not a million miles away either from what they're doing but it's just funny to see the top two teams in the country even though you know they do certain things so differently
Yeah, and I think it's a great, it's a great characterisation of those group of players that you can play your best hurling in a final when all eyes are on you, when it's the biggest day to do it.
You know, because a lot of players, let's be real, a lot of players struggle, you know what I mean?
It's not an easy thing to do.
There's some great players throughout the country
still playing now and gone who haven't you know who just have been fantastic players and when they get to a final they just haven't been able to perform but these Limerick players you know they just seem to they seem to get even better when there's more more at stake so as an Limerick supporter going down all Limerick supporters it's a great it's a great position to be in that you don't
you're not nervous in terms of like, I don't think these fellas won't turn up and perform.
You know, no matter what happens, you're like, one thing about this Limerick team over the last seven or eight years, even when we are beat, it's incredibly hard to beat them.
