I found from my years with John, it's funny, it's when the volume would actually go low, if you know what I mean.
You could be in your meeting room then, and that's how he'll wire it just before, because obviously we spoke about Sean O'Donnell, it'll be his job to do the video tonight, nobody else's.
If we saw nothing but green grass on Sunday from a Limerick point of view, if Limerick can get out onto that field.
He'll do the 15-minute video, and then John will talk before you head out.
If a player wants to talk, it could be any player, John.
But it won't be easy.
It'll be really, really hard.
There was years gone by where it had been experienced players who weren't even starting in a big final.
But do you think that's going to be a driver for this Limerick team?
who might have been back onto the bench, and they might have said that they could add a bit of value.
I think of course it is, yeah.
I think of course it is.
You can talk about all the processes you want and all this, but we're all human at the end of the day.
Or different players over the years, you know, who might have come back off the team, would still stand up on a Tuesday and speak if they had to.
And even though we're trying, high-level performance teams, they try and control their emotion.
You know, like someone like a Graham Mull, who was, you know, the respect levels for a Graham Mull were absolutely through the roof.
That's what these sports scientists are doing the whole time now, John.
They're trying to control people's emotion and emotions.
limit will say they feel you can only be consistent if you don't have if you can limit the emotion I won't say no emotion because it's impossible to have no emotion but the likes of the sports scientists now they're trying to take emotion out of it but that's impossible emotion can actually be a fantastic driver whether we like it or not and we can sit in meetings with teams and talk about you know plans and processes and stuff say I wrote this down in my journal and I'm going to write it down this week
and coming to the very end if he wasn't on the starting team and he had something to add he'd still add it you know he wouldn't be sitting down at the back of the room just because he's not starting this weekend and not adding to the team anyone can add to it when they can and no one might speak of course John is the main man and John will do that heading out the very same as I'm sure Ben O'Connor will blow on Cork
