You have your job, family, you know, you're busy doing things.
But overall, there is unsaid, as Mick said,
But when the head goes down on the pillow,
Like, from a linear point of view, for anyone that loses at home once they're final or lose any final at home, there is that bit of hurt when, you know, the Cork Sea, the Red Sea came onto the field last year.
it's that 10 minutes before you get to sleep where you start replaying all these things in your head so I think that's where the emotion comes in and that's the reason why when Ron Levine is going on Sunday that the you know the hair is around the back of your neck and that's the best feeling of all time when that anthem is going you know before a big crowd and it's just it's unmatched and that's real emotion It's funny what you said there Pat about the Red Sea and staying on after a loss
We often hear about the partner of the Red Sea.
The Red Sea came onto the Gaelic grounds last year.
You know, I was in young coverage then and I stayed there for a little bit after and the whole field was took up with the Red Sea.
And, you know, wouldn't that be great if that was flipped?
You know, if we saw nothing but green grass on Sunday from a Limerick point of view, if Limerick can get out onto that field.
But it won't be easy.
It'll be really, really hard.
But do you think that's going to be a driver for this Limerick team?
I think, of course, it is.
Yeah, I think, of course, it is.
You can talk about all the processes you want and all this, but, you know, we're all human at the end of the day.
And even though we're trying, high-level performance teams, they try and control their emotion.
That's what these more scientists are doing the whole time now, John.
They're trying to control people's emotion and emotions.
limit will say they feel you can only be consistent if you don't have if you can limit the emotion I won't say no emotion because it's impossible to have no emotion but the likes of the sports scientists now they're trying to take emotion out of it but that's impossible emotion can actually be a fantastic driver whether we like it or not and we can sit in meetings with teams and talk about you know plans and processes and stuff say I wrote this down in my journal and I'm going to write it down this week
