could be a draw I doubt it but anyway for the GA again just bringing you back to John Kenny who you lost he's got great mileage out of GA coaches over the years they were really on the money well it was I suppose yeah we did something on that we knew characters you see I mean we'd worked you're always right about what you see and what you do and I remember there was a great character in Limerick I won't mention any names but he was renowned in Limerick
as a GA coach and he had us before the unbelievers we got asked to go to a local bar to do the entertainment for the under 16s medals being given out so we arrived on I don't know what 7 o'clock 8 o'clock and realised comedy was not of any interest to anybody laughing
I pulled out an accordion and started playing a few waltzes and things and John was playing guitar and singing and we were kind of laughing to each other but we ended up playing about two or three hours of this and then your man comes out with the worst language ever well the women go in and get the sandwiches there for the men and get it out there and the under 16s are lying up there to get the medals there for 12 o'clock it's nearly 12 o'clock at night and he said the band are going to clown for another two hours
And that kind of madness we just reflected, that was real, you know.
Yeah, you just get people moving away from you because he'll only be, I'll end up in one of their stores.
And it never works that way, you know.
When you write a character, it's a multitude of people.
You pick different aspects and you put it all together.
Well, that individual actually was just the one character, but a brilliant character.

A bunch of mates of mine, we go on a motorbike trip every year, every second year.
We're part of a club called the Blue Knights.
People might know them.
They're kind of retired policemen and serving policemen and guards and detectives.
PSNI as well up the north and it's a worldwide organisation we do a lot of charity work for Little Blue Heroes which is fantastic so that's where we get together and then once a year we go on a European rally which this year was Taramo down in the south of Italy
And, yeah, it was an incredible trip.
We drove down on the motorbike and then myself and about 40 guys, there was about 20 of us went down, four of us came back up through Albania, Montenegro.
And I was actually going through the border in Montenegro and I stopped in the mountains there and there was a policeman in the hut, you know.
